ABOUT

Googies' owner, Keith Holland, opened the doors of the café on 31st August 2009, serving great food and drink and showcasing the latest local art and some of the best music around. Within 6 short weeks of the official opening, Googies ranked as one of the top 10 venues for Kent Restaurant of the Year in the prestigious Taste of Kent Awards.

Keith says, "My inspirartion for the Art Café stemmed from a long-time passion for art, music, and great food. I wanted to offer local artists the opportunity to display their work as well as offer a central place to meet, socialise and network. My goal is to keep my finger on the pulse of what's happening in Folkestone, and to become a central resource and venue for a variety of art & music, and multi-media events."
